Notes and Cautions

1. OPERATING TEMPERATURES :

PREVENT-A-FLAT is effective between the extremes of -50 degrees Celsius and +150 degrees Celsius. On the occasion operating rim temperatures may exceed this range. When first using PREVENT-A-FLAT or any sealant in tubeless tyres, occasional check of the rim condition should be made.

PREVENT-A-FLAT is heavily treated with corrosion inhibitors and there should be little or no rust on the rim inside the tyres.

2. PUMP MAINTENANCE :

The injector pump should be cleaned regularly to prevent water or foreign materials from being injected into the tyres.

3. TYRE PREPARATION :

The tyre should be free of excess talcum powder, water and any foreign materials before PREVENT-A-FLAT is installed.

4. CORROSION CONTROL :

PREVENT-A-FLAT contains a range of rust inhibitors, PREVENT-A-FLAT will not harm tyres or rims.

5. PREVENT-A-FLAT is NOT a miracle product.

Used properly it will increase tread service life and reduce downtime costs
